Community Outreach

At PGF Basketball we pride ourselves in partaking in community outreach.  We participated in the Walk of Values, whereas we walked to end discrimination. We believe that if everyone is treated equally this world would be a better  place.

PGF Basketball regularly donates to Interact of Wake. We collect donations such as clothes, food items, household goods and take them to Interact to  help the less fortunate.  We believe in the mission of Interact, and believe they are a dominant force in educating others on domestic violence and ending the cycle of it. For more information on Interact, http://www.interactofwake.org

PGF Basketball’s President and Lead Trainer,  Michael Rodgers believe the children are our future and therefore volunteers in programs that help to create a better life for them. Therefore, he served as Assistant Basketball Coach for the Boys and Girls Club in Southeast Raleigh, and helped to create a positive environment for them and was looked up to by many of the youths there.

Currently, we have partnered with The P.H.A.T. Kids Mentoring Program to send kids back to school prepared. We believe that if we all pull together and help the kids be ready for school, the kids will focus better, less likely to be depressed, and they will be more likely to pass in school. If you are interested, in helping us send kids to school prepared you can donate on the http://www./phatkidsmentoring.org website on through paypal at PGF Basketball.  Contact us if your interested in volunteering, sponsoring, or registering your child.

PGF Basketball actively donates to local food banks, participates in charity events, increases awareness of community events to others, sponsors and volunteers in local and global opportunities that make a difference in the lives of others.
